Larissa Ferrari has come forward with harrowing allegations against the married footballer, claiming Dimitri Payet utilized his influence and celebrity status to ensnare her in a cycle of violence and abuse.
Brazilian influencer Larissa Ferrari alleges that Payet used his stature to "trap" her in a toxic relationship.
The claims suggest the former France international exerted extreme control over Ferrari.
Ferrari alleges that she was subjected to psychological manipulation that drove her to the brink of suicide. The 38-year-old athlete is further accused of forcing her into degrading acts.
The 29-year-old Brazilian lawyer claims that her encounters with Payet frequently left her physically bruised and that he employed various "punishments" to dictate her behavior. According to Ferrari, Payet belittled her by bragging about his sexual history with hundreds of other women to make her feel "worthless."
The allegations escalate further, with Ferrari claiming the star intimidated her by boasting of connections to organized crime. She also states that she became pregnant during the relationship but subsequently suffered a miscarriage.
Dimitri Payet has strictly denied all of these accusations.
The relationship reportedly began on Instagram in August 2023. Although Ferrari was aware that the father-of-four was married to his wife, Ludivine, she describes the early stages of their romance as "sweet" before it devolved into what she calls a "macabre game."
She identifies a particularly traumatic 12-hour period in January 2025 as the low point of their time together, claiming she was coerced into performing "degrading" acts on video just to make the ordeal end.
Legal proceedings appear to be in motion, as The Sun on Sunday revealed last April that Ferrari had filed a formal police report against Payet in Brazil.
Dimitri Payet is best known to Premier League fans for his 18-month stint at West Ham United before his £25 million move to Olympique Marseille in 2017. He relocated to Rio de Janeiro in 2023 to play for Vasco da Gama, who eventually released him last summer.
Representatives for the player have been reached for further comment regarding these claims.
