The Rooneys spent Christmas Day at their Cheshire mansion before flying out.
Coleen and Wayne Rooney have traded Britain's cold weather for a sun-soaked New Year’s getaway in Barbados – and it seems their son Kai is the center of attention.
The family was pictured enjoying a beach day on the idyllic island alongside Wayne’s former Manchester United teammates Michael Carrick, Jonny Evans, and Darron Gibson.
Wayne and Coleen Rooney are on holiday in Barbados with their children.
Coleen stripped down to her bikini to soak up the sun.
Matriarch Coleen was spotted in a beige cover-up and black sunglasses, which she later pushed down to reveal an animal-print bikini top as she dipped her toes in the water.
Meanwhile, Wayne opted for a white T-shirt and navy shorts, accessorizing with a cap and sunglasses.
He was all smiles as he enjoyed a beer with family and friends and looked after his younger sons Klay, Kit, and Cass.
Eldest son Kai was also present and appears to already be popular with the ladies as he chatted away.
The 16-year-old, who hopes to follow in his dad’s footsteps as a Manchester United player, was pictured in blue swim trunks and sunglasses.
The teen also took part in a race across the sand against his dad’s former United teammate Jonny Evans.
Before flying out, the family celebrated Christmas Day at their home in Cheshire.
Wayne and Coleen took to Instagram to share a photo of everyone twinning in matching black outfits.
The proud parents beamed as they stood with their kids in the heartwarming snap.
They captioned the post: “Happy Christmas everyone. Hope you’ve all had a great day.”

Earlier this month, the I’m A Celebrity star took her boys to Lapland UK to get into the Christmas spirit.
She posted on Instagram: “Our favourite place this time of year… so magical and even better it’s now on our doorstep @laplanduk. Thank you for an amazing day.”
Coleen shared a series of sweet photos from the outing, where her children looked overjoyed, holding cuddly toy huskies and dressed in matching outfits.
All smiles, the family posed in front of various backdrops inside a wooden cabin.
One photo showed them gathered around a table with elegant Christmas centerpieces; another captured the children sitting beside Santa’s iconic sleigh.
And of course, the festive photo session wouldn’t have been complete without a picture with Santa Claus himself.
